| I started out watching (and listening) to the Rams vs Vikings game. By the time I finished my 3.2 mile walk, it was already 13-0 Vikings and Shaun Hill was out. When I got back home I switched to a much happier sport and watched the Cardinals blast the Brewers 9-1 to open up a 5 game lead over Milwaukee. In fact, Pittsburgh jumped the Brewers to stay 4 1/2 games out. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

That sweep by the Cards last week really hurt the Pirates. They still have a chance for the post season, but they still got alot of work to do.

| I'm still pulling for the Pirates to make a post-season run. I hate all the other teams in contention for a wild card berth (San Fran, Atlanta). I actually respect the Pirates and I LOVE their stadium; I think it's the most picturesque park out there. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Watching the pre-game for the Cards vs Reds game.
Johnny "Kick Like a Girl" Cueto vs Lance Lynn. I so want to win this game; I HATE the Reds after that incident a couple years ago that ended catcher Jason LaRue's career and left Chris Carpenter with cleat marks on his body.
Damn. I thought we faced Kick Like A Girl tonight. That's tomorrow's matchup.
Still hate the Reds. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Go Phillies! Ouch, that really hurt. I grew up in Phillies country and I hated them for the longest time. But it's all about the standings; I think the Brewers are toast but I still worry about the Bucs. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| The Cards were too but Lackey gave a run back in the bottom of the first.
2-1 Cards as we go to the bottom of the 2nd.
Damn. Ludwick homered. 2-2
Wow! And now in the third, Lackey just got tossed. He didn't even say anything. We're still trying to figure out what the home plate ump saw. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

How was this? It was pretty good, but I think some people would expect more of an action movie, when it's more of a spy thriller with action elements. I saw it with my father and my uncle, and they liked it as well.

You can't go wrong with Looney Tunes. I have all the restored collections WB put out and it's amazing to see these cartoons in true color. The versions I grew up watching were so washed out I thought they were in black and white. Like Bugs against the Gashouse Gorillas ("One, two, three strikes, yer out!. One , two, three strikes yer out! One, two, three strikes, yer out!); I could've sworn that was a black and white cartoon but not in the restored set. It's in gorgeous color. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I saw it with my father and my uncle, and they liked it as well. That sounds good, I would much prefer a good espionage film to a nonsensical action movie these days. |
