I can't really listen to this record any more, as it kind of reminds me of a weird time in my life, but it is easily my favorite IE record. It still amazes me how he was able to take a pretty mediocre comic book story and turn it into a very emotional and personal (and kick-ass) concept metal record.

I have an album just like what you're saying and it's rather difficult for me to pull it out as well, although probably to a lesser degree. Anyway I'm stoked to get this because it's the only IE album I haven't heard, and everyone has great things to say about it.

Some real solid Blue Cheer inspired psychedelic rock. I also like that the songs are kept real tight and don't wander around aimlessly. If you like what you've heard it's definitely worth a purchase. Packaging with the digi cardboard sucks though.
