| I was going through my cd's and realized I didn't have a cd copy of Judas Priest "Hell Bent For Leather"...which I will promptly buy today. What was the last Classic Metal you bought or need to get? | |

| I never owned Rush's Moving Pictures till I grabbed it on CD at a yard sale last year sometime. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I finally upgraded my long gone cassettes copies of Led Zeppelin II and Presense last year. And I don't own any Dio studio albums. I've got an anthology collection that suites me just fine. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | One could debate the classification of their latter albums as "classic", but I recently picked up the bulk of the Ramones entire discography. Their first 4 are classics though. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | The last classic metal (interpreting "classic" as 1970s-1980s era) mp3 album I bought was Perfect Man by Rage.
If you mean something more tangible, the last classic metal CD I bought was Court In The Act by Satan.

Thread can now close, apex of epic hauling has been reached. The gods you worship are steel, at the altar of rock 'n roll you kneel.

Coincidentally my last classic metal purchase was also a Priest album; the remastered version of Sin After Sin. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Blackfoot-Strikes Blackfoot-Marauder I love that Strikes disc. I actually have a copy I bought used for about $5 and when I opened it up I discovered it was autographed by Ricky Medlocke. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Those are the classic metal albums I purchased last year. There are still many in my wantlist for me to get later on. There are more that are borderline (1989-1990) but I only included 1988 and below.

| Finally got around to acquiring Fates Warning's Awaken the Guardian, Spectre Within, and Perfect Symmetry recently.
And Sabbath's Paranoid would be another example as well.

| Wow, a lot of us bought Riot's Thundersteel recently. Are you guys just discovering it or have you known about it all this time and just never bought it? I heard it the first time through Spotify, I believe, earlier last year. | |
