Atrocity covers Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Strangely I find this one both horrific and bad-ass in equal measure.

And a band that I love but this track... I don't know. This is a bonus track off of Unholy. It is definitely cringe-worthy, and admittedly, I love some bad pop covers by metal bands.

The french pop tunes aren't the problem. The snooze-inducing metal riffs and the stupidly over-the-top female vocals are the real issue.
This band should change their name to Cliche. Laughable.

While this is fairly horrific I think that it drops points for not even being the worst metal cover of a Frankie Goes To Hollywood song, that honor goes to Warfare and their abysmal Two Tribes cover (I don't know how to put videos on here or I'd prove it! (Be thankful that I'm crappy with computers )

Yeah, that's pretty horrible. I actually like the original song though.

I truly don't understand how anyone (other than a former member of the band) could think that is great metal? So, which instrument did you play?
Hell, even Manowar is better and I think I just threw up a little while writing that....

"Thunder on the Tundra" is the prototype for what Armored Saint, Early Fates Warning, or even your precious Coroner ended up doing!!!! [ok, Coroner was a major stretch].

I could have sworn Judas Priest was the prototype for all that stuff.

Hey, If you like Thor, good for you. But it was exactly this kind of pantomime act that really put me off the genre. Black Sabbath never ponced around with a massive rubber hammer, neither did Priest so I just thought that it was silly and masked some really sub par music.
It's funny though, I've revisited some stuff that I owned that I thought was terrible at the time and it doesn't sound as bad as I thought it was (Rouge Male, Damian Thorne). This still does!

Wow - I was pretty much joking. But if you don't think BS and JP did some freaky, stupid [in retrospect] stuff - Go back to the Chuck Klosterman School of Rock.
And Rogue Male has ALWAYS been cool. Unless you also think Lemmy is a charactiture [sp?]...
