Doesn't sound like too much drama. Just sounds like Rob wants to do something different with his life. I'm sure they can easily secure another lead guitarist.

I haven't really cared what they did since they released the massively over rated Among the Living album. Spreading The Disease was a classic though.

I know that I'm in a minority on this one but I thought that the hardcore elements introduced on that album just didn't suit Joey Belladonna's voice.

Funny I was just thinking not long ago when listening to Worship Music that things seemed too quiet on the Anthrax front.

I wonder the real story.... perhaps someone in the band pissed him off so he left, Scott Ian wants someone to work for less $$$, Dan Spitz is returning soon or perhaps he just got tired of touring

They probably wanted him to remove his beanie or he was out of the band.

Too bad. He was a great guitarist.

You're right. Hard to sing melodically over music that isn't.

I didn't realize he was in the band, thought he was just a live guitarist. Shows how much I care about newer Anthrax.

I hope they replace him with someone with a little more style or flair to his playing. While technically competent, I never cared much for his solos. They lacked personality.

Seemed like a nice enough chap though. Hope he finds whatever it is he's looking for.

Not sure what you are trying to put across here, SS. But Worship Music was one of the premier [sp?] resurrections of all time, imo. One of the best albums recorded in 20 years!!! And, I think that Rob guy played on that one, right? I am just guessing. But if true, I just shot myself in the foot with my earlier post....

I wasn't blown away by that album like I'd hoped. I was much more impressed by the return of Sacrifice and Heathen.
