Stefan Kaufmann leaves U.D.O.

Dear fans,

we want to inform you that Stefan Kaufmann has left the band U.D.O. for health reasons.

The band has begun with the preparations for the forthcoming studio album and is looking for a guitar player with immediate effect. All those interested can send their application to ITM Agency (fsuepfle(at)itm-agency.com).

Stefan will continue to work in the surroundings of the band and produce bands in his own ROXX studio.

A shame, really. But the boys ain't getting any younger, now are they?

Since Igor Gianola's leads were the most memorable thing about the last album, I don't think its that bad really. Udo needs some fresh ideas, and the new one might help with it. Maybe... Maybe they even will be able to get Mathias Dieth back.

Dieth is a lawyer in Cologne now, he will not come back.
