| Watched 'The Avengers' Saturday night. Pretty decent.
A little long for a comic book movie (2:22), but it didn't drag on or anything. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Machete don't txt Yeah, that single bit of dialog captures the spirit of the movie. Put your brain in neutral, think back to the action flicks of the 70s and enjoy... I bet if Danny Trejo had been cast as a badass action hero a la Van Dam earlier in his career he'd have been a huge hit. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

I bet if Danny Trejo had been cast as a badass action hero a la Van Dam earlier in his career he'd have been a huge hit. You are probably right! I read they are making Machete II - that will be a must see!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2002718/ Nice list of actors - I think it's real. Now if they can get Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson in the same scene, they could come up with some classic craziness

- While on the streets, Trejo developed talent as a boxer and considered taking it up as a profession. That ambition was dashed by a lengthy prison sentence. He served 11 years for drug and robbery charges in the Holmesburg Prison. While in Holmesburg, he became the Pennsylvania state prison champion in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions. During this time, Trejo became a member of a twelve-step program, which he credits with his success in overcoming drug addiction. He also served time in Folsom State Prison.
The dude isn't just a badass on film. He's genuinly a badass. And at 68 years old. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| Clive Barker's "Lord Of Illusions". I'm not sure what it is about Clive Barker's works but his stories, books and movies always creep me out. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
