WOW! WOW! WOW! First time ever seeing one of my teams winning the cup. AWESOME!

Not only did they beat the devils, but they beat them 6 to 1! how awesome is that. Give up to Quick. He's the best goalie in the nhl right now. Brodeaur can piss off.

Speaking of 'the other team', Carter, Richards and Gagne should get a picture flipping the bird while posing with the cup, have it framed and send it to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren.

Anyway, congrats to the Kings and their fans. Really about time they won the Cup. Great to see Luc Robitaille and Ron Hextall get Cup rings as well.

A special congratulation to my boy, 2010 Cup champ with the Hawks, Colin Fraser. He'll always be remembered as a Blackhawk in my household, thanks to the giant size poster of the Cup winning team.

I'm so happy for the Kings right now. It's even better than they got to win their first ever Stanley Cup at home.

As much as I dislike the Devils, I am kind of glad they actually won the fifth game. I admit that I was very nervous going into the game, but once the Kings scored the three power play goals in the first period, I knew the Kings were going to hoist the Cup.

I have to admit I haven't watched hockey as much over the last couple of years. But I did watch the finals and happy to see the Kings win.

I am glad for the Kings. I am glad Jersey lost.

I'm so f*cking pissed, since I live in Jersey. I wanted to see an epic comeback.

I'm heading to Vegas in September to see Frozen Fury 2012, the Kings vs Avalanche. That's always a blast!

I don't have feeling for any of those teams but kudos to Los Angeles for a great season, a great playoff round, they really deserved the cup. They played some great hockey.

Did anyone see what Don Cherry had on at the game? I know most people here are Americans, and CBC is a Canadian station, but check out what he had on during the intermission.

Don Cherry is known for his weird attire for years now, isn't he? I've seen him so many times, sometimes with friends and we all wondered just how bad his taste in clothes is
And i stop there as he thinks that european hockey players suck and american players suck too and i remember him being near to tears back in 2008 when the Red Wings won the Cup with Lidstrom being the first european Captain to win the Stanley Cup

There was actually an ad about Don Cherry CBC had over the playoffs that said, "No one is better suited to talk playoff hockey."

I know, I've read a bunch of posts by NJ fans an commentators stating that Jersey lost the game because of the refs. BULL! They lost the game because they allowed three goals in one powerplay. Special teams are an important part of the game. NJ had their chances on the powerplay throughout the series, including an extended 3 on 5 in which they didn't score.
