A modern sound, but this is what I expected from her last go-round, before she unleashed the epic turd called Wicked Wonderland.

Really good tune. If the rest of the album is like this, I'll be pleased.

I think Wicked Wonderland was as much a concoction of her ex-husband as it was her.

I liked Wicked Wonderland in spite of the somewhat ridiculous lyrics(and they're still better then the lyrics from most popular bands today)

I checked it out earlier. I like it. Much better than anything that was on her last album.

I dig it. A hundred times better than Wicked Wonderland, though not quite as good as her best. Not that anyone expected that. I guess this one is about as good as one could expect. It's a bit modern at times, a bit old school at other times.

There are some really great songs, and then a couple duds. She's still got a great voice. There are a few shades of Wicked Wonderland-like experimentation, but those songs are way better. Most have solid hooks.

The oddest thing about the album is that she covered "Song To Slit Your Wrist By," originally on 58's Diet For A New America, then again as a re-recorded bonus track on Motley Crue's Generation Swine. I guess Lita's version is an improvement, but it's a still a pretty terrible song overall.

One listen in and I have to say this is a very good album. Very personal and a good return to form after the horror of the previous one. I'm not big on the first single Branded and a couple of other tracks that are clearly aimed for today's rock radio. But those pass harmlessly by until the better stuff. Mother is a pretty emotionally crushing song and she pulls it off. Which I didn't expect from a Lita Ford record. I take it she is estranged from her kids.

I like the samples.

Too many new releases, not enough money to buy them all. Haha! I'll get this one someday.

I hear ya. I will have to start making payments on my student loan now and that means even less money for music than before. Going to have to be more frugal with the new releases I buy.

She looks like a typical woman in her mid 50's to me. There is gonna be some sagging & wrinkles at that age.

She looks fine to me.

I'd be more inclined to ask what the hell happened to Jim Gillette?

I really liked Jim the way he was in the 80s - both his solo act and Nitro are awesome - he had a cool look and a great voice for that style of metal. I was spinning Nitro's OFR earlier today and it is still one of my favorite glam albums - it's an underrated gems.

Have you seen Jim lately? He has piled on the pounds, he's covered in these really disgusting tattoos and has lost all his cool hair. But image aside, what about his voice? I think the last project he did sounded like some second rate Pantera - just WTF happened?!

Michael Angelo Battio is still releasing shred albums and they're pretty cool but I think he just does it to keep himself entertained not as something too serious.

Glad to hear that somebody else loves those Nitro albums.

I think Lita looks good for her age and the life she has lived. I prefer woman keep it natural like that rather than the ridiculous cosmetic surgeries. Those are scary looking.

After a year I still think this is a solid album.

Lita looks 10 to 15 years older than she is.

I got this album when I saw her live months ago, she signed my album cover and the insert. Also got a shirt for 10 bucks at that show.

I think she looks fine too. I'm glad she decided not to try and look younger through cosmetic alterations. Hey, folks get old and the lifestyle catches up. Fact of life.

These shots for her upcoming live album look pretty good....

I don't have a problem with people getting old. I'm just saying, she looks good in images where she's all dolled up, but she really looks like an old lady without all that makeup and stuff.

And the artwork for her new album cover is ATROCIOUS! Haha.
