I know we've discussed her before, but I couldn't find a thread.
I was a fan of The Runaways, so when Lita's first solo album came out, I snatched it up. It's a good slab of heavy rock and roll. After that I felt that she was relying more on her looks than her music to excel her career. Subsequent follow-up albums were sort of weak, especially "Lita" and "Stiletto". Someone sent me a copy of "Dangerous Curves" to check out, and it's actually not too bad. Sort of a mixture of the commercial pop of "Lita" and the more rockin' side of "Out for Blood".
Any Lita fans? If so, what albums do you like? Dislike?

I like all her albums. But I haven't heard the newest one. I have heard it's terrible. You can't go wrong with her first three.

Ahhhh, Lita. Every '80s metal dude's dream girl... (sigh)
I used to have the "LITA" album (y'know, the one with "Kiss Me Deadly" and "Close My Eyes Forever" on it) on cassette back in the day, played the heck out of it at the time but have never felt particularly compelled to upgrade it to CD.

I like the first three album and 'Stiletto' where she does a decent version of Alice Cooper's 'Only Women Bleed'. Her newest album is a huge turd in the punch bowl.

I had her greatest hits cd for awhile, but it never compelled me to dig any deeper. I ended up getting rid of it. Still like that duet she did with Ozzy.

And then this happened...
Someone get her a drink of water. I think she's dehydrating before our eyes.

I have the second lp (I believe) the one with "gotta let go", a catchy well written tune with decent solo.

I used to have this on 45 as a kid. I remember the picture more than the song. Ha!
The only Lita album I ever listen to is Out For Blood. The other few, ehh. Not as good. Oddly enough, the video for Kiss Me Deadly was just on Metal Mania a few minutes ago. Peace.

Yea, I bought the 45 back then too. The song sucked so I threw the record away and hung the picture sleeve on my wall.

I have only the greatest hits. The other albums have too much stuff I skipped.

I like Out For Blood and Dancing On The Edge. After those, I thought alot of her records were hit and miss. I haven't heard her latest.

I've never been a huge fan of Lita's but I am really digging "Dangerous Curves". The Tom Werman production strips the rock and roll right out of the songs, but this was still a nice return to form IMO. The songs have a nice balance between Lita's pop side and her hard rock roots.
Here's a recent photo where she looks pretty good:

I was legit excited for the new one. I liked everything she had done. I even dug the live record she put out. Out For Blood and Dancing On The Edge are my favorites. I was even willing to bet that all the negative said about Wicked Wonderland would mean I would love it. Never been so wrong. I'm tolerant and really want to like most things - but this one is impossible. And even better is....it's fifteen songs of it.

Can't be that recent. She's missing some tats that are present in that Sea Hag pic.

I have a greatest hit CD, the BMG version, which had more of the rocking numbers than the poppier ones. I enjoyed it quite a bit and if I can find her other albums used cheaply I will certainly pick them up.

The only song I really liked by her was 'Gotta Let Go'.... I saw her in concert in San Francisco in 88 or 89.... I saw her at a club and there were a lotta folks there. I found the show pretty boring tho.... And of course 'Gotta Let Go'.. was the last song with an obligatory sing along.... yawn...
I had high hopes....
I've not heard her new stuff.... I didn't like that duet with Ozzy....
