Another one of those small labels that seem to grab obscure stuff and try to sell it. Ever heard of Lemon Records or Abstract Sounds? Cinderella has stuff on those too.

I've got a copy of Cinderella's Extended Versions live disc coming to me from Hastings... when it arrives I'll post my thoughts. If I'm not mistaken, Cinderella is one of the few discs in the "Extended Versions" series that is not re-purposed from previously released material.

I've picked up quite a few in my travels (mostly from Hastings) in the past couple of years, used ones can be had dirt cheap (less than two bucks most of the time!) so I can never resist.
Anywhoo, the Cinderella "E.V." came in the mail yesterday but I haven't had time to spin it yet. Stay tuned.
According to the back cover it was recorded @ the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut in 2005. I think the band may have self-released the same show previously before they farmed it out to BMG for a wider release as an "Extended Versions."

They're all live.
Usually they're just re-packaged from previously released material that's out of print (i.e. the Megadeth one is boiled down from the Rude Awakening live disc, Anthrax's is from the Music of Mass Destruction live album, etc.), although I have a Quiet Riot one that was apparently broadcast on the radio but never released as an album.

Also the Bad Company and two Foreigner concerts are from unreleased shows, as is the Alice Cooper version which is the audio taken from his "Trashes the World", some of those live tracks had already appeared on Alice's comp " Classicks"

You need to do your homework a little bit if you purchase these things to determine if they are unreleased live recordings or just shortened versions. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the bands they choose.

Sony/BMG released a Cinderella edition of their long running series of budget priced Extended Versions live discs in 2006. The show was taped at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut in July of 2005.
What you get is a basic, no-frills live set with the band bangin' out their Greatest Hits for what sounds to be a sizable, appreciative crowd. Opening with "Night Songs," you can hear that Tom Keifer's voice isn't quite what it used to be; rather than go for the high notes during the chorus he simply yelps "Night! Soooooongs!" and doesn't seem to be getting much backing-vocal help from the other guys in the band. Based on this first track I thought the album was gonna wind up being a train wreck, but fortunately Tom's voice gets better as the show goes on (I guess it takes him a song or two to get warmed up). By the time they get into "Heartbreak Station," "Coming Home" and "Shelter Me" I had no complaints. Tom's voice may be a little raggedy but the band is spot on. During "Nobody's Fool" Tom holds the note when he sez "I SCREEEEEEEEE-EEEEAAAAAAAAAAM my heart out...." for what's gotta be at least 30 seconds and then you hear nothin' but the crowd screaming back at him for a full minute afterwards... Knowing that the boy's had voice troubles on and off for the past decade or so, at first I'm thinking "Damn, he blew his voice out again" but then he kicks back into the song and everybody's like "Whew!"
All in all it's a decent performance, obviously it's warts 'n' all straight from the soundboard with no post-op polishing or edits. There are a ton of live Cinderella albums out there (I do believe their # of live albums now outnumbers their studio discs by at least two to one!) and though I haven't heard any of the others, I'd recommend Extended Versions if you can find it cheap like I did.
This same performance was given a more deluxe treatment by Frontiers Records in 2009 as Live At the Mohegan Sun, with four additional tracks that weren't on the Extended Versions disc.
The Live at the Mohegan Sun version retails for fifteen bucks and change on Amazon whilst the Extended Versions disc can be had for around five. I guess whether or not four extra songs is worth an extra ten bucks depends on how big a Cinderella fan you are.
"Still Climbing" live at Mohegan Sun:
This track is on the Live at Mohegan Sun disc but not the Extended Versions CD.

Is his voice shot because he's a throat singer? Not sounding too bad but the raspy parts really show his struggles.

He ain't as young as he used to be. Probably not as easy to do that "rasp" anymore.

Cinderella has been my favorite band since I first started listening to rock music in kindergarten.
One that hasn't been mentioned on this thread that came out a few years back is their Authorized Bootleg live release from the Heartbreak Station tour. It has a nice track list complete with a few songs that are not on any other live albums.
There is also this vinyl only live EP, which is pretty cool because it contains "Galaxy Blues" which was played on the Night Songs tour, and is a reference to the Galaxy Club that they used to play at before being discovered by Bon Jovi.

^^ Me neither.
...and I just looked for "Galaxy Blues" on YouTube and it doesn't look like anyone's ever uploaded it. Anybody know where a brotha might be able to hear that particular track??
Kinda funny that you can find their "Pat's Dogs" commercial on YouTube but not a legitimately-released song.

I posted the "Pat's Dogs" clip on Tom Keifer's Facebook page a while back and asked if that track would ever turn up in a Cinderella rarities collection. I'm still waiting for a response.

If he had any sense of humor about it, 'Pat's Dogs' would have been a hidden track at the end of The Way Life Goes.

If that's the case then I probably saw them perform that song since that was the only time I ever saw them in concert. Damned if I remember that song though. Maybe if I heard it again ?

I think it also appears as a bonus track on the rerelease of Long Cold Winter. They didn't play it all the shows on that tour through. It's pretty much just a straight up blues song done with the overall sound/style that they had on the Night Songs album.
