Great album, though.

Oh hell yeah. I know it sounds weird compared to their other albums, but it is what it is and that's the sound I am used to. I'd actually prefer to have that original mix because its what I know.

Yeah, I've often wondered if the album would sound "right" to me if it was re-released with the mix the band originally intended. Despite my initial disappointment with its sound, the mix does convey a certain feeling of bleakness, you know. It's "cold," if that makes sense. So it works on that level.

Doctor Butcher is phenomenal. Sounds like Savatage on 'roids - which it essentially is.

It definitely has a "cold" feel to it...

Raven - Mad E.P.
Fifth Angel - Fifth Angel - this is the 1986 Shrapnel version which has a different mix from the Epic records re-release
Tank - Armour Plated - this is a gatefold double album best of with their complete b-sides up to 1985
Various - Metal Inferno - This is a comp of mostly NWOBHM bands such as Venom, Crucifixion, Witchfinder Generl, Demon, Angel Witch, Cloven Hoof, Blood and bizarrely enough - Black Widow (although here they are credited as just Widow but I am assuming it's the Black Widow from the early 70's because the song on the comp is Come To The Sabbat.)
