Incredible stuff, that was really the album that made me a Tull fan. I was of course already familiar with Aqualung and some of their other songs, but when I got "Stand Up" something about it just clicked and I've been a raving lunatic for Tull ever since.

Back To The Family, Reasons For Waiting, A New Day Yesterday, Nothing Is Easy, Fat Man, Bouree...hell, the whole album is great.

Here's my pick-ups from the whole of April. Not great as i've been spending more on Blu-rays in recent weeks. Some of the alternative ones were mainly bought because I knew a couple of songs and because they were really cheap.

I hadn't been to a record show in about 9 years. The last time I went, it was 90% cds and 10% vinyl. This time it was the reverse and the place was packed. One of the vendors told me he had just replenished all his heavy metal stock because at the last show it was all sold out. He also said, it was mostly young kids buying it. So that's a great sign!

Most of the vendors had all the Record Store Day releases for sale as well. So if you missed them, you should be able to get them fairly easily.

Boy that MM album is not garnering kind reviews on Amazon. I'm really hit & miss with him; some songs I love but I find most of his albums to be too full of filler.

Yeah, after one listen it's not sitting well with me. The last couple haven't been great, but this seems to be much worse.

The guy has simply lost quality songwriters. The first few albums, especially the debut, are so good. The debut is just brilliant, if you ask me. Mechanical Animals is another great one.

But yeah, this new album isn't going to win him any new fans.
