Not having looked on itunes in years I was shocked at some the the cool things they had. I'm thinking of getting a few others.

My last bought CD was The Shaggs - Philosopy of the World
It's just wow It's beyond bad, it's a new dimension of awful yet at the same interesting and it at least makes you appreciate every other bands. After listening to this i can't say that No Prayer for the Dying, Fight for the Rock or St. Anger are bad, they are miles ahead of this....whatever it is

The Shaggs are/were godawful to be sure, but their story is certainly bizarre/interesting. Apparently the girls in the band were all sisters, and their grandmother had a "vision" that they would become huge pop stars (even though none of them showed any interest in, or talent at music whatsoever)... so their father took it upon himself to buy them instruments, start them on music lessons, and attempted to "mold" them into a band... whether they liked it or not. By all accounts, they didn't, and just kinda went along with it cuz they were afraid of him.

Their story was made into an Off-Broadway play a couple of years ago, don't know if it's still running but I read a few reviews of it in the local papers when it opened.
