I had that Thorr's Hammer album a long time ago. I thought it was terrible, but I sold it for a nice chunk of change.

i love that album.

Always found this album to be a guilty pleasure. Saw them live once and still haven't gotten my head around it almost twenty years later. It was something.

Cool thread, found some new one's I haven't heard of like Six Magics, Divine Ascension, Messiah Force. Here are a few I've found in the last year or so, not mentioned: I don't think these are well known, if so....Sorry.....

I still have the Thorr's Hammer cd. Haven't listened to it in quite some time. I recently got into Arkona and have really been enjoying them.

Yea, I'm not big on them either, but I've had that disc for years. That one in particular can be found on Amazon for the insanely low price of .39 cents!! Worth every penny in my opinion. Unfortunately, the rest of their catalog is in the pricey import range.

From what I've heard and read about them though, they've pretty much stuck to their same formula thru the years. They play down and dirty hard rock. You like one album, you'll like them all. Nina and the guitar player are the only 2 original members I believe.

Still love Doro Pesch & the late great Wendy O Williams...and Lita Ford...and Rock Goddess..remember them???
