| I was recently at the supermarket's medicine aisle and i noticed a cold medication. The bizzare thing? The brand name of said cold medication was 666. Thats the name, seriously, im not making this up. I have no idea why they picked that name, but it CANT be good for sales. | |

| I googled it and apparently its a legit product by a legit company: http://www.monticellodrug.com/products/666-cold-prep.html Still, you'd think they'd pick a name thats a bit less "questionable" EDIT: Also, this "legit" company doesnt even have a wikipedia page. Of course, that may not be a bad thing considering recent events | |

I don't see how something like that can make it through all the layers products have to get through before they are on the shelves. Even if the company brain trust was so naive, you'd think like one person in the test marketing process would mention this.
I can see them looking at the sales figures puzzled why they haven't sold many in the Bible belt but Norwegian sales are through the roof. | |

| Invented by our founder Tharp Spencer Roberts, 666 cold remedies were originally patented as "Roberts Remedies #666". The name derived from the prescription pad number on which he wrote a formula to treat a rural preacher with a severe case of malarial fever and chills . This formula was credited with saving the life of the much beloved fever sufferer and it came to be requested by reference to the "666" number off the prescription pad. | |

| Still a bad name if you're trying to market the product. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
