- Queensryche (w/Todd LaTorre) announced on their Facebook a day or two ago that they're going to get their turn on the "That Metal Show" couch in the forthcoming season...they shoot their interview at the end of April.
Tate got to give his side of the story on "TMS" last year so it'll be interesting to see what the other camp has to say. So glad to hear this; don't know if anyone saw the LA Guns back n forth last season but it was truly interesting and I think a good way to handle a major band dispute. Geoff did pretty good when he was on the show but still didn't satisfy my curiosity. Toddsryche deserve a shot at this too.[/quote] Totally unrelated, I was just walking down to the shops, I live in a very country part in the middle of nowhere, al cows and sheep and shit (about 20 minutes ago - Sex Action came up on my MP3) Love that track.

| I caught the tail end of one of the new "That Metal Show" episodes over the weekend (was hoping it would be the one w/Newsted, but nope, it was the Stone Sour guys) ... I laughed like hell during Florentine's "Rant" about the "Rock of Ages" movie, when he said he would've rather been seen coming out of a NAMBLA meeting than out of that movie theater _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

That line made me both groan and laugh, I enjoyed the show, despite not being a mjor fan of Stone Sour, and I was sad when they brought back that Top 5 segement

Of course, all I can say about that is God bless Jim Florentine.

| New guests announced for the new season, but not all of them. It really looks like the same old ass kiss with a few new guys, but nothing that makes me want to subscribe to cable again. One thing that is cool is Gary Hoey will be one of the guest musicians. Otherwise, this shit is really getting samey (can you believe he's going to have THE WINERY DOGS?? HOLY SHIT WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED??):
"Each week That Metal Show will continue to bring their audience the biggest names in hard rock and heavy metal. A slew of guests have already been confirmed for the upcoming episodes including Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge, Randy Blythe and Chris Adler of Lamb of God, Corey Glover and Vernon Reid of Living Colour, and The Winery Dogs. Also confirmed to appear during Season 13 are Mick Mars, Ted Nugent, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Joe Satriani, Al Jourgensen, Morgan Rose, Frank Bello and David Ellefson. Other guests are still being confirmed at this time with more to be named at a later date."

Of course, all I can say about that is God bless Jim Florentine. I had to Google NAMBLA as I had no idea what this meant. I really wish I hadn't!! The authorities will be visiting you soon to ask a few questions of their own. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. | Saw episode 1 of the new season.
Great news: Don mentions Metal Church's new album. Right on, about time.
Bad news: Refers to them as "Bay Area Thrash."
Yup. Bay Area Thrash. He also mentions that original vocalist Ronny Munroe is back in the band. And then Eddie casually says this is the first time they've been back together after breaking up. Kind of true, but I don't think he knows what he's talking about. Again.

If I'd seen this I would've been so mad I would've been foaming at the mouth. Do they still do the segment where they read e-mails from viewers? Cuz if they do, I say we start mass mail-bombing their inbox with complaints when stupid crap like this makes it onto the air. I mean, for cryin' out loud, how hard is it to CHECK YOUR DAMN FACTS!! _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Even if they do the emails it's all pick and choose and of course they'll pick the wikipedia questions ("Whatever happened to Kingdom Come?"). I mail bombed Trunk and Don and even threw something up on the TMS Facebook (surprisingly, I was only the second one to do so). Likeliness of getting recognition is little to null.
