I just keep getting drawn back to this lot. I don't really know why?

New purson video for the three or four people on here who like them

My favorite new artist of the year...easily! (the new avatar kind of gives that away)
Purson might not be hard rockin' enough for most metal fans, but people open to psychedelic rock and heavy prog should check it out for sure.

Dig summadis!
Three great bands. The Temperance Movement remind me of the first Cry Of Love album, which is a classic. Deap Vally is awesome. Like a dirty rock version of The White Stripes. And The Graveltones just rock.

I like all three bands. Strangely it's the Graveltones that remind me of The White Stripes (early), Deap Valley remind me of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
I already knew about The Temperance Movement as I checked them out when they played a gig in London supported by Purson, cool band.

Not sure if I'm more facinated with the Deap Vally tune because of the visuals over the actual music.

I enjoy their first 2 albums very much, so I'd imagine this new one will be right up my alley as well.
EDIT: Looks like the new album, Time Warriors, will be available Oct. 1st. Sweet! EDIT 2: Hey Boris, I pimped these guys a few pages back with their older albums. Click here and scroll down some...

Yeah, I think that it was your post that turned me onto them last year. I know that they are far from a new discovery but it's a great new track so I just thought I'd post as some might not know that there is a new record soon.

It's good stuff. Looking forward to a new album. Fans of other Swedish retro acts like Witchcraft would dig these guys.
While mostly sung in English, they do have a few songs that are performed in their native tongue, especially on their first album. I don't mind it. I find it kinda cool. Just throwing it out there though for folks who might take issue with it.

I pay no attention to lyrics anyway, so I probably wouldn't notice.

The Sundowners. Discovered them through The Coral and have been following them for a while now. They keep impressing.
Might not be heavy enough for everyone, but they're great.

New track from Purson, just can't get enough of this band. Probably my most-played album this year.

Love this! I honestly don't think that I've heard a weak track from these guys. The new song that they did for the kickstarter campaign Blueprints of the Dream is great too.

I like these guys and this is on my list for my next High Roller Records (awesome and very reasonably priced German record store/label) but I'm waiting because postage is ten euros for one disc or seventeen euros for up to 15 discs! So it seriously pays to wait until you have the cash for a proper haul from them.

Yeah, it's quite good. I've yet to find an affordable version, so I did the naughty download thing.

Is the whole album like this? I'm catching a NWOBHM-vibe, which I like. I could see digging this.

Yup. Couple tunes are a bit faster, more "metal."
