| There’s obvious albums I love. But when Gillian joined Sabbath.....forget it. Sabbath upped it a notch. My friends saw that concert tour. I never seen them so amazed and thrilled - for weeks ! I didn’t want go - ohhhhhhhhhhh what a mistake in Metal history.
My close 2nd would be Lemmy. That was a wild release.

| Every one of those was on constant rotation back then, except Krokus. Hell half of them still are lol voted Show no Mercy, but easily could have went with Dio, Ozzy, Mercyful Fate or Metallica. | |

| Kill ‘Em All deserves the win!
The most groundbreaking album of 1983, and the start of the thrash movement. Slayer were good too, but a bit messy and unfocused. To this day, the production on Kill ‘Em All is impressive and very clear.

Dave Lombardo is in a different league as a drummer compared to Lars, but his drums were not very good on Show No Mercy. He even had to record the cymbals separate because of a recording mishap. They were basically a Venom ripoff in the beginning. Hell Awaits was much better. Reign in Blood is iconic! South of Heaven is great. Seasons in the Abyss is my personal favorite.

| Great year for metal! I went with quiet riot! I had quite a few albums on that list and still do but the quiet riot metal health is the one that gets the most play even to this day... | |

I have been on a Quiet Riot mode lately. Need to pick up Terrified on cd, but it seems to be out of print. Few copies i saw on Ebay were too expensive.
