Just got Skid Row: S/T (to finally replace my cassette copy) and Weezer's Pinkerton from a thrift shop ($2.00 each). BTW, anyone else dislike when you see a tape or cd case at one of these stores, but then you open it and the tape/cd isnt in there? Happened to me twice today.

Recently I saw this long time want on a goodwill shelf http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004SCXL/ref=dm_ws_ps_cdp?ie=UTF8&qid=1392822792&s=music&sr=1-3-spell
I about started dancing with joy until I opened it and nothing. No disc. I went through every disc they had hoping it just got slotted wrong somehow. No luck. The missing disc is only equaled in frustration by the wrong disc being in there. I love how at Goodwill they ask if you checked everything and are sure it's the one you want.
From Zia for .50
Low Pop Suicide - On The Cross Of Commerce Anger Management - Group Therapy Sorrow - Forgotten Sunrise
From Hastings dollar bin
Guardian - First Watch Gary Joey - s/t Motherland - Peace 4 Me Kim Wilde - Another Step Red Flag - Naive Art New Model Army - eight Camouflage - La LA LA and in what will probably be my dollar bin find of the year Hammerhead - Evil Twin (crazy the rarities that just sit in those bins waiting for a fan like me to come along. Also reminds me to hold off on paying collectors prices when things like this are found)

You shoulda bought the case, and then just bought an Mp3 copy to burn to CD. Would make an excellent placeholder until you come across a complete original.

I thought about doing just that. But was so disappointed that I had to leave the case there out of frustration. I decided to take it as a challenge to find an original. Of course now I'll probably come across the disc only and be kicking myself for not just buying the case. In my defense though the case was in pretty bad shape. And it ultimately did disappear off the shelf.

Sepultura - Nation Fates Warning - Inside Out Angel Dust - Of Human Bondage Kamelot - Epica Stratovarius - s/t Flotsam & Jetsam - Drift
For a buck or two apiece in the scratched section of compactdiscount.com. Funny thing is there's not a scratch to be found on any of the discs. Going to revisit this site often. Shipping was dirt cheap, too (less than Amazon).

I think it's cool. I always liked Lenny Kravitz's version of "Deuce" and Extreme's "Strutter". Garth's "Hard Luck Woman" is also quite good.
Anthrax is what you'd expect.
I also really like Gin Blossoms' "Christine Sixteen"...very faithful to the original.

Lucky sod. I've been outbid on ebay too many times to count trying to score a copy of that one.

Didn't even realize it was so pricey. It was in the last bin and I almost didn't check it. Rockaway makes you work for those dollar finds. You have to get on the floor and crawl around.

All of those are great albums. I'm surprised that Shotgun Messiah was out on the shelf since it seems like Goodwill has gone all in on Amazon for the harder to find things. Did it include the stencil with it? Years back I bought a copy just because it included the promotional stencil. Sometimes my collecting ways really make me wonder. Great album though, have a big sentimental attachment to it.

No stencil, sadly. I was shocked to see it too, in perfect condition nonetheless! Been cranking it; brings back a lot of memories. One of the better "hair" bands of the era.

Don't worry Keith; our moment will come when we find a Candlemass album in there somewhere. Or something like that.

I'm still holding out for an X-Sinner GET IT or Fear Not CD. Shoot, I found a Mastedon "Lofcaudio" CD in that thrift, which was on the same label. The others have GOTTA be out there!!
