Yea, I read that about the band on Wikipedia. Not a bad little album actually. Certainly worth a buck.

Had a good weekend slumming at a flea market & thrift shop over the weekend.
For 80 cents each...
I have this Candlemass disc already, but it's the 2 cd re-issue and I couldn't leave it behind for that price.
For 50 cents each...
I'd swore I'd never own this album, but for 50 cents in mint condition, I'll give it a shot.
A tribute album to jazz drummer Buddy Rich featuring Neal Peart, Rod Morgenstein, Matt Sorum and others. Seemed interesting enough.

I made a pretty sweet one-dollar score this past wkend at my local second hand shop and I wanted to share my joy - Black Sabbath's The End EP from 2016.
This is the "Tour Edition" that features four new studio tracks (leftovers from the 13 album sessions) and four live songs. It was only sold at the merch stands during Sabbath's farewell tour.
When I found it sitting on the rack I did a double take, cuz I never thought I'd see one of those (still sealed no less!) in the wild. I actually pulled out my phone and Googled it right there in the store, like "Is this what I think it is? It can't be.... holy sh*t, it IS!"
I'm assuming that since it was in a cardboard sleeve, the store might have thought it was a CD single of some sort, and that's why they only wanted a buck for it. If they'd taken a few minutes to look it up on Discogs, tho, they would've seen that it goes for considerably more than that...
So NOW I can consider my Black Sabbath studio discography officially "closed!" (mic drop)

Man, I just checked MusicBee and was like, "Hey, I have this too!" Then looked at my spreadsheet because I don't remember ever buying that tour edition, then realized apparently I've never replaced my old Sabbath cassettes from way back in the day because despite having everything in MP3 format all I actually own is 13, Seventh Star, and The Dio Years. WTF?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fill in the blanks in your Sabbath CD collection. That oughta keep you busy for a few years (like it did me).

Ain't much fun posting here anymore, but over the weekend I had a decent score at the ol' Goodwill and had to share with folks who might actually care. $0.99 each, all in mint condition...

Got another big score at the thrift shop. Someone clearly just brought in quite a collection. Despite all the ones I took, there was quite a few decent rock/metal/jazz discs I left behind for the next treasure hunter.
All of these were a buck a piece, all in good-to-mint condition, except the DLR album.
Billy Idol - Charmed Life Billy Idol - VH1 Storytellers Black Sabbath - Technical Ecstasy Black Sabbath - Vol. 4 Black Sabbath - Sabotage Black Sabbath - Dehumanizer Black Sabbath - The Mob Rules Black Sabbath - Master of Reality David Lee Roth - Eat 'Em and Smile (no back insert) Jethro Tull - The Very Best of Joe Satriani - Super Colossal Kingofthehill - Kingofthehill Los Straightjackets - Viva Los Straightjackets Metallica - Live Shit: Binge & Purge Miles Davis - Nefertiti* Miles Davis - Bitches Brew* Miles Davis - Sketches of Spain* Mullmuzzler - Keep It to Yourself Mullmuzzler - Mullmuzzler 2 Opeth - Deliverence Opeth - Ghost Reveries Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (SACD) Pink Floyd - Meddle Pink Floyd - Relics Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother* Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason Pink Floyd - Animals* Porcupine Tree - Deadwing Porcupine Tree - Staircase Infinities ep Sammy Hagar - Ten13 Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs The Who - Live at Leeds* Thelonius Monk Quartet w/ John Coltrane - At Carnegie Hall* Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever

Daaaaaamn MG, you're suckin' up all the thrift shop mojo. My local thrifts have been a barren wasteland for more than a year now.
