I had heard Sugar a few years back and remembered digging what little I heard...but never got around to getting their stuff even though I see it used and cheap all the time. I was in the right mood today and wow...killer stuff!

Yeah, I've always really loved Floor's voice but I thought the music in After Forever was just so unmemorable.

I like the early AF albums, but I felt they really started hitting their stride on Invisible Circles. That's when they stepped away from the standard beauty and the beast doom-death stuff and started to groove a bit more, add catchy hooks and stuff.

But man, the voice acting on that album is so painful! It's so bad. Haha.

Anyway, Reimagine and the self-titled were fantastic, I though.

Nice grab on that Pariah disc. Just spun it not long ago. Too bad it went largely unnoticed in that mid-90 grunge era. A little uneven in some places (are they going for dark and grungy like AIC or good time party rock?), but still a good listen.
