I liked the version of Swan Swan H that they played in Athens, GA: Inside Out, a music documentary that I watched a few months ago.

That has 2 of my favorite Wildhearts tracks on it. "Vanilla Radio" and "Only One Hell".
I just realized last night that, aside from the singles, I'm also done with my Wildhearts collection. Whoohoo! Oddly enough, the Newbury Comics near me has a new copy of Chutzpah! and Ginger's new collection, 10. So I'll be grabbing those soon.
By the way, for that 10 release, Ginger made a "disc 2" available for free download: http://gingerwildheart.bandcamp.com.
Ever heard Devin Townsend's little tribute to Ginger and "Vanilla Radio?"

Eyesore, where did you get that and how much? Seems to be going for a pretty penny everywhere online. Is it an import?
Onto some recent additions:
White Wizzard - High Speed GTO (I like this ep better than their album) The Mushroom River Band - Music For the World Beyond Cathedral - The Guessing Game (AWESOME!!)
From GoHastings: Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum Kix - Hot Wire Warrant - Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinkin Rich Hollywood Rose - The Roots of Guns n' Roses Jani Lane - Back Down To One Got 2 more from the same order that haven't arrived yet.
And finally, hit the used shop in town today at lunch: Angus Khan - s/t (.99 cents) Acid King - Busse Woods (reissue with 2 bonus tracks/$2.99) Queens of the Stone Age - OOP s/t ($4.99)
Those last 3 bargains were off-set by a parking ticket.

I got it at Newbury Comics for $13.99. That Cauldron album was just $6.99.
If it's cheaper for anyone, I'll grab a copy if you send me $16 through Paypal or whatever.

Thanks. $13.99 is over my budget, but that's one of the cheaper prices I've seen.

I find Ginger's solo stuff to be really hit or miss. Actually, I find the Wildheart pretty hit or miss too; it's just that when they "hit", I really, really dig it.
And that cover of Vanilla Radio is pretty cool; hardly even sounds like the same song.
BTW, I think Chutzpah! is the most consistent Wildhearts release I've heard in a long time.

Oh, it's not a cover. I guess Devin was just playing around in the studio and managed to write a song based on the "Vanilla Radio" riff. It was originally called "Wildheart." Just a tribute.

No wonder it sounds like a different song. The hook and riff are there but generally it's a different song.

So I guess you're as psyched as I am for a new Michael Monroe studio album? The potential for the songwriting duo of Monroe and Ginger really has me stoked.

I'll be honest, Monroe's solo stuff, and even a lot of the Hanoi Rocks stuff, hasn't done it for me. It's good, but kind of missing..."balls," if you know what I mean. But yeah, with Ginger in the mix the potential for a great album is high.
