Don't have a final order, I'm still trying to decide where to put the new Allen-Lande CD (I'm going to give it a couple more spins). I also will be doing either a top 50 or 60 because there are too many just to limit to a top 10. The first three in my top are final though:

H.E.A.T-Freedom Rock
Avantasia-Angel Of Babylon

I was going to tie the two Avantasia at #1 but I loved the H.E.A.T album enough to drive a wedge between them.

I'm going to concentrate more on new releases for 2011. I bought mostly backcatalog stuff this year. I do love Helloween's 7 Sinners though. Just ordered the latest Blind Guardian. We'll see how that pans out.

I'm not even sure the last 25 are in a true order of preference but I tried my best. Thanks, it wasn't easy because I hate rating albums because I know there are some I spent more time absorbing than others and maybe if I had spent more time on them they'd be higher on the list. However, the top 10 were not hard at all. Those bands really pulled through nicely. I'm especially proud of Kamelot because I was so put off by Ghost Opera that I was ready to drop them if they disappointed me again. So why it was not ranked higher, I consider them "most improved".

I know I'll to post this eventually at White Throne, but honestly I did buy a lot of back catalog stuff this year..... A LOT!!! lol....
