No the original is far superior IMO

I prefer the original as well, but it could just be that it's the version I heard first, thus it's the version I am more familiar with and prefer.

Yeah the original See You In Your Dreams is much better.

I used to have Peter's album as my favorite, but then I grew up!

Seriously though, Peter's solo album was one of the first albums we had at our home, and I listened to it for hours and hours, days after days. So I really used to love it.

Nowadays I prefer the 3 other though. But I tend to like the solo albums that don't sound like the main bands albums.

There are a handful of songs that I really do like from Peter's album e.g. You Matter To Me, Tossin' And Turnin', Hooked On Rock and Roll, and That's the Kinda Sugar Papa Likes. Oh, and Don't You Let Me Down isn't bad either.

My wife love's that song I Can't Stop the Rain.

It is one of the few, hell maybe the only good song on the album.

I like Paul's best actually. Love in Chains, Tonight You Belong to Me... classic! Ace's disc is good too, but I don't like it as much.

Well it is all a matter of taste of course, but the two albums he did as a vocalist as the Jeff Beck Group where brillant, of course that has more to do with Beck then Stewart, his work with the Faces was good and his early solo material IMO was very very good.

Well it is all a matter of taste of course, but the two albums he did as a vocalist as the Jeff Beck Group where brillant, of course that has more to do with Beck then Stewart, his work with the Faces was good and his early solo material IMO was very very good.
