I agree, the production bugs me but I still like the songs on it. I still prefer the first 3 to AJFA though.

I have six Metallica albums. I'd probably rate them something like this:

1. Kill Em All
2. Master of Puppets
3. Ride the Lightning
4. Metallica
5. ...and Justice for All
6. Death Magnetic

To be honest, I didn't really give Death Magnetic that many listens. I only bought it because I saw it go for next to nothing in the discount bin.

I have actually heard Load and I quite liked it. Different sounding band, but the music was okay. Never heard Re-Load or St. Anger.... apart from some radio play singles and stuff.
