| When this album came out I was excited because it was a NEW AC/DC album and that is always reason to rejoice for me.... I bought it and I thought this is pretty good, but not quite Great.... I really liked about half the album and was indifferent about the rest... I've not listened to it since early last year I think... Well I pulled it out when I was reorganizing my discs and I thought I'll give it a spin.... Boy was I pleasantly surprised. This disc ROCKS from beggining to end.... I really didn't like 'Anything Goes' originally, I hear it now and HOLY CRAP what a rockin' song.... Even tunes like 'Wheels', 'Decibel', 'Rock N Roll Dream' just kicked my backside this time. Wow... I just want to spin it again.... Anyone else found this to be true? If you were like me maybe you should pull it out and spin it again. This is, I think, one complete AC/DC album.... I'd love to see them live but I just can swing $100 a tix right now... Somehow I think I heard they were gonna do stadiums this year, did I imagine that or what....? Now admittedly I am a fanboy, but I really thought some of Black Ice was pretty bland at first. Yet it is just grabbing me in another way... | |

If you're like me this disc will just go up in value. It really is a great album. I liked 'Stiff Upper Lip' and after 8 years of waiting this is an awesome followup. Hey can't we get an Angus Icon??????

| I listen to it all the time. Of course, I only started listening to AC/DC like two years ago. So everything but the hits were new to me. "Black Ice" is my favorite track. Love that groove!
And I'm still amazed that Flick of the Switch wasn't a huge album for these guys.

| I still haven't bought the BLACK ICE album. I suppose I should be ashamed. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Mutt Lange wasn't directly involved this time. I love that album. Yet that was the year I think Def Leppard hit with Pyromania.... 1983? A slight change in the musical wind and not quite the push that the previous albums got... FOTS is fabulous....

Freddy you're missing out dude. If you like the boys/men from down under this is a keeper for sure.....
Oh yeah, I love'em. I just never got around to picking this one up for whatever reason. Which is odd cuz I'm in a Wal-Mart at least once a month so I've had plenty of opportunities to get it. I guess whenever I'm in there I'm not thinking about it, and since their CD selection otherwise pretty much sucks, I don't even bother going to the music dept. most of the time. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

FOTS is fabulous.... It is. It's my favorite. And as far as I'm concerned, it's full of hit songs. A more polished sound wouldn't have helped it; the record company probably simply didn't promote it.

I think the album cover shows how much the record company cared at the time. |

I think the album cover shows how much the record company cared at the time. I am sure the record label took it for granted thinking AC/DC would sell millions simply on the name alone.

| I too still like this album a lot! It's classic AC/DC to me. The last album I liked by the band was Who Made Who, but I have liked songs off of each album since. Black Ice is a solid album though! I wonder if it will take another 10 years to do a follow up! | |
