Bands revisited

What bands have you recently revisited?

I'm in the process of adding all my CD's to an Excel sheet, so I can see how many CD's I acttually own. I'm also ripping all my music to a 1TB external harddrive. I've started with the A's and B's, and so far I've really enjoyed listening to:

Recently been going through these band's catalogs and will be adding a bunch of new reviews to NLTM.

recently Satan's Host, Jag Panzer, & Uriah Heep

been in a bit of a black metal revisiting mood lately.

these are some good bands -- but very underrated. even in black metal circles.

Same here. I recently got a rip of the Shadow Thief demo. It totally shreds! Early Jag Panzer rules supreme. The early Satan's Host stuff is great too (the new stuff doesn't quite do it for me), despite the horrid production job on both Metal From Hell and Midnight Wind.

I've been going back to a lot of Bad Company and Diamond Head lately.

I love this band!

I have been going through my collection looking for stuff to weed out, so I am in less familiar territory these days. Closest thing to revisiting a past favorite would be Metallica - Garage Days EP. Great release!

Good call on Cannibal Corpse. I need to revisit them soon in fact.

I also want to eventually get into the other three. I love what I've heard of Down and Diamond Head, but don't own any of their albums.

At the Gates is a legendary band that somehow I've never gotten into yet. Not sure why, cause I'm sure I'd like em.

Thanks to James B, detuned, and Chairman I have also been checking out my collection of:

Tesla
Rush
Dio and I will be doing the same when the Ted Nugent and Raven threads get going.

Same with Manny. Quite a few of those Complete Discography threads have got me going back and giving some fresh spins to some of the classics. I've also found that I'm pulling out allot of older stuff and giving it new life as I rip them to my computer.

Today will be AT VANCE day here Anyone familiar with them?

Their first album, Ample Destruction, is one of the best American metal records ever imo. It's too bad pretty much every CD copy of it is a bootleg.

Dude, I just listened to Solitary Solitude yesterday. From what I have heard (SS and Kill to Survive) these guys knew how to write songs, for the most part.
