Just wandering your thoughts are on Dave Lombardo's band after he left Slayer. I think it's better than post Seasons abyss Slayer actually well maybe so much God hates Us All and Christ Illusion

I still refuse to call it Dave Lombardo's band, but they were awesome! It's too bad Gus is gone; his voice ruled.

I had their first album (POWER OF INNER STRENGTH, I think it was called) for a while years back. It was OK but not a keeper.

Only 2-3 good songs on that one. One is " Colors of Death ". Good, but not great.

Really? Man, I have a hard time finding 2–3 less-than-great songs over their four albums.

Eh, maybe I need to listen again. I just have inner strength. Only 2-3 made it to the IPOD.

I have all of them. Very good band. Some stuff after the 1st album took awhile to really enjoy, but they grew on me. Power of Inner Strength is awesome. I think that album has Dave's best drumming.

An excellent band! The first two are very good albums, and I agree with MetalRob that Ostracized is a fat slab of molten metal. Solidy took a bit of getting used to, as it was slightly more experimental, but once I got used to it I liked it a great deal.
I've only heard two or three from Incorporated, but they were pretty good tunes.

A thread of common interest: http://www.heartofmetal.net/heart-of-metal-f1/mantra-sect-gus-chambers-t11762.htm
Anyway, have you guys heard their cover of "Paint It Black?" Here you go:
GRIP INC. - PAINT IT BLACK
Personally, I think covering this song should be outlawed; there are far too many covers of it, and nearly all of them sound the same. But for what it's worth, it's one of the better covers I've heard of this song.

I'm also really looking forward to Waldemar Sorychta's new band with Floor Jansen. Called ReVamp. They are releasing their first album in March.
