My vote would be for the "The Punisher" starring Dolph Lundgren.
I saw this one again several weeks ago for the first time in YEARS and I actually like it better now than when it was current. Probably cuz I haven't read a "Punisher" comic in goin' on fifteen years now, so I'm far enuff removed from the source material to enjoy it on its own merits. As a plain ole ultra-violent "B" grade action movie, it's pretty decent, though it's still a "Punisher" movie in name only. I have a sneaking suspicion that when New World Pictures got the "Punisher" license, they didn't bother reading any of the comics, they just took out an old generic action-movie script that they had in a drawer somewhere and changed a few characters' names.

Spiderman 3, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, The Punisher, The Phantom, TheFantastic Four, and The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
The Fantastic Four flick from the 90s looks really bad, but Roger Corman produced, so I might cave and be a masochist someday .

Heck yeah!!!! We've had more Superhero movies since the last posting! Green Lantern was a bit of a mess and not at all good. Iron Man II was rather boring (took a few times to finally finish it) and a mess also....... but they more than made up for it with The Avengers.
Still say Batman & Robin is one of the if not the worst superhero flick of all time.

^^ I actually enjoyed "Green Lantern" more than I thought I would, especially since I was never much of a G.L. reader in my comic book days, and the fact that I would like to punch Ryan Reynolds repeatedly. (He just irritates me, I don't know why.)
I just saw another "worst" candidate a week or two ago - the most recent Ghost Rider movie, "Spirit of Vengeance." Woooo, what a sh*t sandwich that one was. The first G.R. wasn't great but the 2nd one makes it look Oscar worthy.

Yeah, I read your words about GR2 - sounds like one I will be avoiding!
Surprised this one didn't come up in this thread yet (though I think we have discussed before!):

I actually got a kick out of that "FF" movie! If they'd sold that as a live action Saturday morning show for kids ala "Power Rangers" they might've been onto something.

At least it was intentionally made to be bad..... which is more than I can say for Batman & Robin, which was supposed to be a "visual" feast for the eyes......... but it turned out to be dog crap dressed up as an expensive meal

The story behind that unreleased FF film is pretty interesting:

Yep, I remember when it was permanently shelved, some screener copies snuck out and became hot bootleg items on the comic book convention circuit. I was tempted to buy one back then but the dealer would put it on his little TV to 'show me the quality' and I'd be like "forget it, I'm not paying $40 for that."
I finally saw it just a couple of months ago when a full copy turned up on YouTube (probably the same link that Joker posted above...). It was a hoot!

I really don't feel like sitting through that whole movie but I have seen quite a few stills from it and I gotta say, I think the Thing and Dr. Doom costumes are done rather well.

Dr. Doom's hilarious in this movie. Everything he says is punctuated with a fist in the air and a "MWA-HA-HA-HA!"
The costume looks great, like he just walked off the page of an FF comic. However, the Thing never looks like anything other than a guy in an ill fitting rubber suit.
Then again, the Thing didn't look very convincing in the two mega-budget FF movies with either...

Batman and Robin is pretty bad but I still dont think it approaches Superman IV. I really like both Iron Man movies a lot. I think they hit a home run with each one.

Probably the only way to make a convincing Thing is through CGI (and I'm not a real big fan of CGI) although the way the Hulk was rendered in the Avengers was fantastic.

Yet Stallone's career managed to survive after 'Judge Dredd' and 'Stop! Or My Mom will Shoot".
I forget where I read it but believe it or not, even though it tanked at the box office in the U.S. "Judge Dredd" was reportedly a huge hit in Asia, particularly in Japan. I think it was the #1 "foreign film" of the year at the Japanese box office when it was released there.
Then again, they eat dogs in some parts of the world, so there's no accounting for taste, I guess.
Another great example of a truly awful movie. When those behind the film didn't even think about contacting Anthrax for the use of "I Am The Law", you knew that this movie was going to suck. Hell, they had their soundtrack right there.
I remember reading when Anthrax heard they were making a Judge Dredd movie, they were hoping that they'd be contacted to use "I Am the Law" in the movie. When they eventually saw the movie, they were glad they didn't use "I Am the Law." Although the 2012 Dredd remake didn't include it either, nor did it use "Darkness Descends" by Dark Angel.

Watched the "Daredevil" spin-off "Elektra" a couple of nights ago... it wasn't very good. Not a sh*t sandwich on par with the "Ghost Rider" sequel, but pretty lame nonetheless.

Must be something wrong with me, I actually liked Green Lantern. Of course I know almost squat about DC or Marvel comics so maybe it's easier for me to enjoy super hero movies.

It's probably the Ryan Reynolds effect for some. I don't have a problem with the guy now, but I used to not be able to stand the guy. I also don't have a problem with the movie be super CGI/cartoonish. When you have a guy that can conjure up anything with his ring it's going to borderline on the ridiculous.

Not just a terrible super hero movie, but a bad movie overall. That and Blair Witch make my top two worse movies of all time (though GR2 didn't make me vomit-shaky camera coupled with extremely bad migraine).

Y'know what the G.R. sequel reminded me of? One of those "Prophecy" flicks with Christopher Walken, with Ghost Rider shoe-horned in as a special guest star.
