Nah, the best album AC/DC never recorded is Rhino Bucket's "Get Used To It" IMHO. Although Airbourne comes a close second... _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

Nah, that title belongs to X-Sinner's GET IT. Airbourne are a damn good second place finisher though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

Airbourne are a damn good second place finisher though. X-Sinner's Get It is a great album. Actually put that one in my CD case today. I still don't hear it as an AC/DC clone though. Sounds a bit closer to bands like early 80's Def Leppard and Krokus than it does to AC/DC. Heard Airbourne on the radio this morning on my way into work. Song was something like Too Much Too Fast Too Young. Not bad actually, but I think there are a ton of bands out there doing it as good, if not better, that deserve the praise behind heaped on Airbourne. American Dog, Broken Teeth, Funny Money all come to mind. However, I might have to pick up this Airbourne CD. I like it. ult _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

That's where I live!!! But, but, but!! We're flying out the next morning for Ohio and have to be up at 4:00 Am!! I might just do it. Then it'll be easier to sleep in the plane. I smurfette and moan that Abilene doesn't get any good bands so I better get my butt in the seats. I even took this day off from work to get ready for the trip. I'm off!! | |

Maybe not so much musically, but definitely vocally...on GET IT that David Robbins guy was TOTALLY channeling Brian Johnson. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

ult Oh, there are plenty of bands out there doing some great music, maybe worse, maybe better. Either way, the Airbourne disc is outstanding. You should definitely grab a copy. |

| I recommend seeing this band, after following them for years on the local pub scene in Melbourne these guys know how to put on a good show. Its AC/DC on speed or played with a thrash metal intensity live, watch for liberal amounts of alcohol wastage and bar top guitar solos! Funny Money, American Dog, Broken Teeth are all veterans former 'hair' metal survivors, they don't have the youth and freshness of Airbourne. And so thats why Airbourne are getting the press. Their in their early 20's so its refreshing to see a band like them on the scene. | |

| This album isn't grabbing me by the short & curlies like I hoped it would. It's good and I like that a young band is getting some recognition. The problem I have with it is that when I listen to it, I feel like I'm listening to an second rate AC/DC cover band or something and I want to break out the originals instead of listening to this. Maybe my opinion will change over time. | |

| Second rate? I don't know about that. I can definitely hear the AC/DC cover band thing, but hardly second rate. Imagine if AC/DC had put this album out. It would be called the best comeback album in the past 20 years. |

| I like this Airbourne disc better than any Brian Johnson AC/DC disc. Yes even the hallowed Back In Black. After that album, AC/DC is really spotty IMO. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| I wouldn't call them 2nd rate or cover band. For someone like me who grew up with Australian pub rock like these guys, i hear alot of Angels, Jimmy Barnes/Cold Chisel and Rose Tattoo (particuarly in Joel's voice) to their music. A more p*ssed angry kind of edge to his singing like that of Angry Anderson (Rose Tattoo). They also remind me of that great forgotten band from the 90's the Four Horsemen. | |

YES!!!!! The Angels are my favorite band!!! A few months ago, I finally won the S/T off Ebay at a decent price ($28). That completed my Angels collection. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.
