I briefly had a free promo copy of their debut album. I tried to get through it once, but the vocals were horrible and traded it away. The music was, meh, ok I guess. Never once thought of them as Christian, but then again, I'm pretty thick when it comes to that sorta thing.

There debut cd is amazing IMO. Not one bad song. Its the songwriting and hooks that drug me in. A fav disc of that year it came out.

Yeah, I saw a video on Headbanger's Ball some months ago & thought it was incredibly "meh" sounding. Not that I don't like that nu-metal/hardcore style (I do), but they sounded a bit too generic and I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about.

I dont hear much nu-metal style in this band. Its more straight forward metal. Also Ivan Moody is one of the best vocalists in metal IMO.
