great band.... Beyond the Permafrost was one of the best of 07. One with the Shadows rocks too.

The only track I have heard is the titletrack off Beyond the permafrost, my friend had a comp with them on it and I thought they were great.

I dug the music itself alot, but the guys vocals turned me off at first, havent given them a second listen yet.

I tried to get into these guys, but I couldn't get past the vocals. Too growly/harsh for my tastes. Music's good though.

I traded my copy away as well. Didn't dislike it, but it didn't bowl me over either.

Just listened to the track that Sam put up, I would have to agree that the vocals are not really enjoyable for me.
It may be just me, but this band seems like it may be more rooted in thrashcore than actual thrash IMO now that I have listened to more of their stuff.

I find them to be bridging the gap between Trash and black metal.

I really like them. They are also a killer live band. I've seen them a time or two and it was awesome. Cool guys and cool songs!

Great debut effort. Hard to lay a label on them. It's like a Thrash/Death hybrid with Black Metal vox.

Great band. "Beyond The Permafrost" is very cool CD with a mix vibes between old school death metal, Celtic Frost and some thrashing going on. The only thing I don't particularly like are the vocals - I would prefer something more in vein of Tom Warrior.

They just need to reissue their debut. That one is hard to get or just unavailable.

Not a bad band. But nothing exceptional either...

I feel their are definitely better than most of the new thrash revival bands going on today. At least their sound is a shoot at originality.

Wanted to like this band but the vocals kept me from really embracing it.

That is their only outright flaw. And I agree they can get grating on the nerves.

And I listen to some pretty gnarly vocals. Must be the difference between black and death, I could never get into black metal vocals. I'm also finding I like less and less death vocals. Must be the age thing. Gotthard anyone?

That 'Permafrost' is not their debut, huh? Everyone pretty much has been discussing and labeling it as such. That's a really solid effort though... Really memorable tunes and a direction that's a workable amalgam of Death, Black and Thrash. Like it lots. Short flarkin recording though. Like 36 minutes and out. What's the word? They gearing up for another?

Their debut was released in 2004 - titled "At One With The Shadows". Not as good as the "Beyond..." but still listenable. Even very much so. And their death/black/thrash combo is really cool - like the Celtic Frost-isms. I hope they are going for another one - we could use some good thrashing.
