I have to add that the return of Linda Allen or whatever her name is was about as welcome as a rendez-vous with that aunt of yours that used to pinch your cheeks and kiss your forehead as a child. She looked like she smelled of moth balls. |

| It should have been cool to have Karen Allen reunited with Harrison Ford they had great chemistry in 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' but in Indiana Jones and Crystal Skull, no chemistry or sparks, it seemed forced which added to the disappointment of the movie. | |

Now that's true. She was fairly attractive in the original, but time has not been kind to her. They should've brought back Kate Capshaw!!!! Now that's a World Class hottie!

- I loved 'The Dark Knight" and IMO Christian Bale is the best Batman, my only criticism of the Batman movie is that Batman seemed to be a supporting character in his own movie.
Indiana Jones-I agree with Spectrefate, it was ok at best I finally saw 007, Quantum of Solace last night with my son, loved it and Daniel Craig is becoming my 2nd favorite James Bond (hard to beat Sean Connery). It was also the only James Bond movie where he does not utter his famous line " My Name is Bond...James Bond' Dark Night - LOVE it, GREAT movie, true, it is a much darker frank miller type batman. Ledger owned as the Joker. I can't belive I'm saying this, but he was better than Jack!!! My ONLY issue was Bale's Batman voice was just a little too over the top 20 packs of marlboro reds a day for me. Indi - I enjoyed it, pure escapism 007 - LOVE it, not as good as Casino Royal, but overall a great movie. Craig is really good as Bond, but no one could ever top Connery! Hancock - watched it, pretty good movie. I kept waiting for a main villan to show up, but one never did. Neat idea behind it. Also watched: Eagle Eye - pretty good thriller. Shai seems to be playing the Sam from Transformers character again (can't wait for Transformers 2!!!!) Tropic Thunder - Pretty good movie, not as funny as I thought it would be. Downey Jr was really good - I was worried that it would be racist (white man in black face), but they pulled it off without being racist. Bedtime Stories - took the kids to see it, typical Adam Sandler, but it was sanitized Sandler for kids. My kids loved it and my daughter couldn;t stop laughing through the whole movie

Not fair to compare! I call it a tie as Jack played Cartoonish Joker perfectly and Ledger player Dark Joker perfectly.

| I'm watching the latest Stuart Gordon flick. He's apparently left the horror movies like Reanimator and Dagon behind because this is his second one in a row that's not horror (coming on the heels of the violent "King Of The Ants")
This one's called "Stuck" and it's based on the incident several years ago where a nurse hit a homeless person and he got stuck in her windshield. She made it home with no one seeing her and left the car and the guy, still alive, in the garage for days.
Great performances and very suspenseful. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

The guy playing the homeless guy is great. You follow him around as he tries to get government assistance and gets booted off a park bench by the police before he gets hit. He's really sympathetic and his facial expressions while he's stuck in the windshield are really painful to watch. _________________ "The cat is the most ruthless, most terrifying of animals." - Spock in the "Catspaw" episode of ToS Season 2.

| Last night we watched a good-but-not-great horror/thriller called "Asylum," in which a new college dorm is built on the site of a former insane asylum run by a mad doctor who disappeared decades earlier after performing atrocities on his patients. Of course, the new residents start to see weird stuff and eventually come across the ghost of the good Doctor himself. Part "Nightmare on Elm St.," part "House on Haunted Hill," but not as good as either of those. Had a few good gore moments though. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Shoot'Em Up. I wanted to see it in the theaters but couldn't get the woman to agree to it (even though she thinks Clive Owen is hot ). Awesome movie, low on plot and dialogue, pretty much just one gunfight after another and really creative with it too. - Required Fields wrote:

| The Wrestler - really great, but I'm afraid it'll probably be one people think is over-rated based on all the hype. Funny thing is my girlfriend who hates pro wrestling actually liked it even more than I did.
Valkyrie - surprised how much I liked it. I tend to be indifferent to Tom Cruise these days but he actually fit this part well I thought.
I also watched Poltergeist on blu-ray which is always a good time.
