I listened to the three samples, the first song sounded like "reborn" at first, but then I heard the old Stryper in it - It's really hard to tell. I will be a first day buyer of this one and be able to make up my mind them.

I think it sounds like a mix between Reborn and the old stuff. I've only listened to the samples a few times but the guitar tones remind me of older Stryper material. I'm not hearing the GIANT super slick choruses. Michael sounds great though. Next Sunday they are releasing 3 more samples I think.

I hear alot of the Reborn sound with some more lead work thrown in,I'll be getting it regardless because I'm a big ol Stryper Fanboy.

Man, I'm actually psyched for Stryper again!! NO, this is not a return to form. But it still sounds like Michael have at least made an attempt to sound like Stryper, and not just Michael Sweet. Love the guitar solos, and the guitar-tone. His voice is also great. But it still lacks that old band feeling.

I really like the samples they had up. From my understanding, they will have three more samples next week, correct?

And Black Halo...the new Dokken is awesome! Best they have done in years...not that it has ANYTHING to do with Stryper! LOL!
