Disappointments 2008

no disappointments for me and I have several of the ones mentioned above.

I think i'll have to add Faith Factor - Against A Darkned Sky to this thread. While not a bad album per se, it is still nowhere near as good as I had hoped for. The demo was amazing, and the album doesn't live up to it. Heck, even the production was better on the demo!

I would say for me the dissapointment of 08 was the non-release of the last Virgin Black cd that will end the trilogy. Perhaps 09?

Judas Priest-Nostramadus, I have to be in the mood for this one which I haven't been since it came out and I listened to it through once.

I was on the fence about this one, but I'm gonna add AC/DC's Black Ice to disappointments for me. Here's why.

I'm not much of a fan of the Brian Johnson-era of AC/DC. Other than Back in Black and For Those About to Rock, I don't own any Brian AC/DC cd's. I guess I was hoping that Black Ice was gonna change my opinion and make me a fan. This didn't happen. Don't get me wrong. I don't think Black Ice is a bad album at all. It just didn't do anything for me. Metallica, Tesla, Testament and GnR have all released cd's this year and I keep giving them repeated spins. Not so with Black Ice. If I'm gonna break out some AC/DC, I'm reaching for Powerage or Highway to Hell.
