- As the title suggest, what bands/albums from fairly unknown thrash metal bands do you consider classics? No big names, please. Also I did not included bands that were more speed than thrash. These are my top in no particular order:

Pm me...
I don't know what constitutes a "classic", but alot of you guys just named unknown bands. Can they ALL really be "classics", or just enjoyable albums? I find "RATTAIL GRENADIER - TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING" an awesome album, but a classic? Far from it. Hahaha only in your dreams I would trade such gems, unless I got spares of course By classic I meant, memorable albums, even better stuff than the most known ones for example.

I agree and I almost listed it. I guess I just didn't see Hirax as being "unknown". They are fairly well known in metal circles. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| One from Slovenia - Sarcasm's Crematory is a classic and by many considered as the beast ex-Yugoslavia album (however to be honest I was never really into our scene, and to me Sarcasm are good/very good but not that good!) Some others would for example be from East Europe Ferat - Rainhold Hellias - Noc Potiepania EP Magnus I Was Watching My Death Omnitron CD from Sweden Arbitrater - Darkened Reality both Vulture albums (although I prefer the 2nd one) + a whole bunch of old Dutch scene (Paralysis, Donor, Mysto Dysto / 1st Mandator, etc.) + many more to mention | |

| How could I forget mentioning Detente--Recognize no authority? Love that album with every inch of my love... Dawn Crosby(RIP) was a brilliant vocalist, only tied with Nina Llopis(The lead) for my favorate female vocalist of all time, not to mention Crosby was pretty hot... I read a while back that Detente was back with Ann Boleyn from Hellion replacing Crosby on vocals...psssh, no one will ever replace Crosby in my opinion... | |

| Obscure thrash question....
A thrash band (whose name I haven't been able to remember since the 80's) did a cover version of The Munsters theme...it was absolutely the best part of an otherwise rather mediocre album.
But man I'd love to have a copy of that song...it was FUN! |

Despite how much the album blows, I would definately hang on to it if I were you because it can easily go for a mini fortune on the net...not to mention it has munster mosh.

Unfortunately that one is long gone, my entire vinyl collection was stolen from storage when I went away to college in 1994. What made it even more depressing was that I had quite a few real rarities that my father gave to me (Beatles White Album on white vinyl, etc). |
