| Would Ultimatum be considered "new era"? Most of the bands listed haven't been around five years. We've been around since '92.
Vindicator Warbringer Hyades Merciless Death Municipal Waste Gama Bomb Lich King
Also glad to see someone list 3 Inches of Blood. I love this band! _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Metal Church, Meliah Rage, etc. We have as much classic metal influence as we have thrash influences. (Thus the musical mix on Lex Metalis) However, it doesn't really bother me that people classify us as thrash metal either. Power metal is a term that has become a bit flowery over the years, so I'd much rather be called thrash than power metal. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

Well if you guy's we're around in 87/88 I would say you we're a Thrash band....You have all the basic elements...Put in with the new groups I say no...3rd generation for sure...

Yeah, they are good! I still need to get their new one, but I have "Fire Up the Blades" and spin it from time to time.

| Hexen Pitiful Reign Visual Violence is great but their first one Toxic Choke is even better. Lich King Evile
I'm starting to really come around on Warbringer.
I think my expectations were too high for Gama Bomb. Probably need to give it another chance.

Ultimatum is most assuredly thrash 110% thrash! Every thrash band has elements of classic metal in their music. After all, thrash was spawned from traditional metal. And that's not a bad thing mind you! Ultimatum RULES! But to compare them to Metal Church is a stretch. More like Exodus and maybe even Overkill.
