| I was thinking if Paul was referring to Megadeth's "safe" appearance on Arsenio? | |

2 years later playing Symphony and an interview. I miss white jeans. Metal got some respect in the mainstream back then. Good luck seeing any coverage now days unless it's Metallica or Godsmack on Jimmy Kimmel.

| Slayer were on Kimmel when Christ Illusion came out, that was a little surprising. |

That one I saw. Didn't they play on a roof top or something? Or maybe it was a parking lot of the studio. They weren't indoors I remember that. They played 2 songs. 1 during the show, then again at the end as the closing credits rolled by.

Judas Priest were also on Jimmy Kimmel's show fairly recently, I think. Arsenio Hall did have some cool hard rock/metal musical guests back in the day. My fave was when Spinal Tap did his show around the release of their "reunion" album, BREAK LIKE THE WIND. They played one song, "The Majesty Of Rock," and at the end of the tune the camera zoomed in on one of the amps... there was a piece of paper stuck to it that said "SET LIST: MAJESTY OF ROCK" _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| Motorhead has been on both Letterman and Leno. Megadeth was on Letterman as well. Metallica was on SNL. | |
