Obama is very intelligent man and has studied his history. Joker, you will not agree with everything he does, and in the end you may not agree with a thing he does end up doing, but you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. Why did he choose those particular people? What determines how he chooses his cabinet?

As far how they are choose to be leaders, they are voted on by members of the Senate and House. The Cabinet is choosen by whoever the President-elect happens to be, they consult with advisers, his chief of staff and party leaders but ultimately the President -elect makes that final decision on who gets serve in his cabinet.

| I read somewhere that his choice for chief of staff "Rahm Emanuel" is a hot head and is one of the guys that pushed that NAFTA thing through while he served under Clinton. I wonder how this is gonna pan out for America? | |

Not to mention all that He'll create as well Well, since we haven't seen him in action yet, I think that's a little premature. If you're saying this because you are cynic as it pertains to politicians in general, I guess I feel your pain in regards to that. Like most pundits are stating, I think that Obama has at least a 6 month window for people before the criticism starts coming dow. Remember that the United States hasn't been in this bad of a situation since Hoover left office in 1933. I can't think of much that Obama is inheriting that is the least bit good. When a President leaves office with a 22% approval rate, I think that states the obvious!
