Overlooked? That piece of crap sold over a million copies based on the Metallica name alone. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| It seems that the band received a lot of flack for this one, as it didn't gel with those who saw Over Kill as just a thrash band. It stands as one of my favs of the band. | |

| Jimmy Page and Robert Plant-Walking in Clarksville- Fans were expecting it to sound like Led Zeppelin instead they followed their muse and produced a dark, moody album, not easily digestable. | |

| Iggy Pop-Beat 'em Up It is mixture of garage rock, more like the White Stripes do than what the Stooges were famous for, mixed in with primitative heavy metal and odd mixture of punk influences. His most abrasive album in years. | |

| King's X - Manic Moonlight Metal Blade not surprisingly had no budget to promote this one, which is a shame because it's one of their most interesting albums from this period. Their most progressive album since Faith, Hope, Love and contains the funkiest tune they ever recorded: Vegetable. |

Definitely. More of a commercial feel for TS, but for what it was, it was and is still a great album.

| Thin Lizzy - Nightlife Another one of those "transitional albums" that tend to get lost in the grand scheme of things. Lizzy was still searching for their identity on this one...but that's one of the reasons I like it so much, there are a multitude of styles here showing a variety of directions they could have gone. "She Knows" is perfect little pop/rock tune, "Showdown" & "Night Life" have a jazzy/R&B vibe that showcases Lynott's voice to excellent effect, "It's Only Money" is a great heavy groove rocker (later covered by Concrete Blonde) and "Frankie Carroll" is a frightening little ballad about abuse. Of course the classic "Still In Love With You" is on here (with Gary Moore's solo) and the future concert staple "Sha-La-La" makes it debut (but this version is blown away by the later version on Live & Dangerous). Regardless, if you ask people to list their favorite Lizzy albums you rarely see this one mentioned. |

| St Anger, as a whole, is not that bad at all - It's just the production that blows.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uU1XHW416cI
That's how good it could have sounded - That's a killer sound. - The chorus is awesome, just shut up you haters and listen.
The guy made some killer drum sounds to boot.
Shoot me Again, My World, Frantic, St. Anger, The Unnamed Feeling - All songs with great potential. With a killer prudoction, it would slay. Solo's are ragged on too much - It's really not that important in most songs. Maybe just a little lead work. Some Kind of Monster also has one of the coolest riffs from the newers Metallica,
Maybe the albums could have been cut short a couple of songs and worked on a bit more, but lots of good idea's on that album. Okay, overall, not too great - But if all the great idea's were aranged properly, with a better production, you would have a good and unique album.

| St Anger, the song, also proved that Lars has still got some power in those legs.
The song live has potential to kick some major ass as well

And Frantic just slays - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJmXv4WTa1I&feature=related
Too bad James' vocals were so strained.
