| Albums for example like KISS-Creatures of the Night, Black Sabbath-Eternal Idol, and Alice Cooper-DA DA, that never make it on top of any of popular reader's polls and always seemed to be overlooked. | |

Stryper's AGAINST THE LAW
I would say VERY overlooked album, especially by the christian community. Although, it's probably not overlooked here! | |

Definitely! The first Motorhead album I bought and still my favorite. The guitar playing on that album is just incredible, having Brian Robertson from Thin Lizzy might not have been the long term solution for the band...but it sure proved what they were capable of! They haven't done anything as melodically interesting since he left. (that's not a put-down, just an observation). |

| I just got APD the other day. Its the only Motorhead I have never had. It must be a grower because I'm not gelling with it yet. |

| I would also add Never Say Die as an overlooked album. Sure, most people know the title song...but very few seem to be familiar with Johnny's Blade, A Hard Road, Junior's Eyes, Air Dance, Over To You, etc. |

| AC/DC - Powerage (not enough hits for most people I suppose) Thin Lizzy - Renegade Thin Lizzy - Chinatown Dio - Dream Evil (one of his best IMO.) Aerosmith - Night in the Ruts (heavy 70's Aerosmith!) Blue Oyster Cult - Cultasaurus Erectus (no hits, so no one cared I guess?) Alice Cooper - From the Inside Alice Cooper - Last Temptation Yes - The Ladder Molly Hatchet - Silent Reign of Heroes Molly Hatchet - Kingdom of XII Cheap Trick - All Shook Up (produced by the legendary George Martin) Ted Nugent - Nugent _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| Rush: Signals Grace Under Pressure Roll the Bones Test For Echo Too many folks dismissed this band after Moving Pictures, myself included for a time, I think this was because the guitar was no longer the dominant sound in the mix, not as metallic. There is some great music on these, as well as other later lp's, still some heavy stuff too. | |

It's not overlooked, everyone just hates it. I didn't think it was all that bad, though. |

| All of the pre Sykes Whitesnake LP's.
I Know people that thought "Slide" was their first album and some that never knew there was anything before the 1987 release.
The pre Sykes era Whitesnake was one of the greatest RnR bands out there IMO. An incredible band that nobody seems to remember!
Sykes added a nice touch to Slide but everything after that was, to me, not what Whitesnake was all about. |

| Dokken- Dysfunctional is an excellent cd overlooked, I should had also added to my list. " Nothing More to Say" excellent ballad, maybe Don Dokken's best vocal performance. | |
