| Candlemass - That is my favorite song of theirs. It invokes a romanticized version of a vampire love(redundant) story. Great lyrics and you don't hear it ever as opposed to Godzilla or ...Reaper. - akeldama wrote:

Even "Veteran of the Psychic Wars"?

| Has anyone seen the Black and Blue concert video? It's Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult's Co-headlining tour video from 1980. If you have seen it is it any good and do you know where I might be able to get a copy? | |

| B.O.C. is one of those bands I've always meant to explore but have never quite gotten round to it. The only discs I have of theirs are a cheapie "best-of" called "Super Hits" (my son loves "Godzilla" so I keep that one in the car for the drive to daycare, haha!) and "Fire of Unknown Origin." Any suggestions of what album(s) to check out next would be appreciated. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

There is a 2cd comp. entitled " Workshop of Telescopes" that you can find at a descent price on Amazon that gives you a good overview of their career without breaking the bank, that way you get a sample of their discography and see if it is a band you want to spend more time invensting in.

Yea, y'know, I saw that "Workshop of Telescopes" set awhile back (shortly after I bought that cheap-o "Super Hits" disc) and I remember thinking "Dang, I probably should've gotten this one instead." Oh well. Live and learn. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"
