Hell Yeah!!! I was there front row and center. Slipknot last week, Crue this week and Priest/Sabbath Dio style next month. Pretty cool to me.

I'm not sure you can live anywhere where there are no natural disasters. we have none of note in britain
What about those really bad floods just last year or that killer heat wave a few years back. I was talkinga about America.
The rest of the world is of no interest to me. Especially America's smurfette, Canada. Amercia's "Smurfette"? (I know, cuss filter) - did you forget who the head of state of Candada is? She lives in Buckingham Palace

| Canada rocks, though. I've been on both ends and loved it. I guess I just want to be anywhere but here. This has been the only place I couldn't tolerate. |

Or white sand beaches. Wrong again! There's 275 square miles of white beaches in the Tularosa basin. Sure, there's no ocean to go with it, but that cuts down on the hurricanes, humidity and gnats. Pretty good trade off to me. - Quote :

Sure you can, it's called New Mexico.

Ruidoso and Angel Fire and For licking, there's Elephant Butt. The only thing we don't have is giant flying roaches. Fixed You know the phrase "I'll try anything once, twice if I like it?" Well, I won't be trying that twice.

| Canada is really cool in the summertime. I couldn't handle the winters, though. I've been down south too long. | |

| Where's the beach and all the people? Surely if it was great people would be there. It's just white dessert. |

| You know you're jealous. The last time you went to the beach there was probably 800 people and it smelled like rotting seaweed. | |

| Serioulsy, Nick, we're known to have the nicest beaches in the country. The fact there are no concerts here is the only downside for me. The people are great untl they drive.
Have fun learning spanish, and flying your hot air balloon in the desert.

| Ehhhh I'm just giving you crap. My aunt and Uncle take their RV down to Florida every year. You can only stay in the beachfront parks for a maximum of two weeks, but they plan it so they have reservations at a bunch ov them, so they shuttle around down there for a coupld of months. They say it is wonderful (except for the gnats). | |

| As if it were an act of God, a 1 1/2 inch roach was flying around our house last night. The f'n thing scared the crap out of me. The constant rain just pisses off those nasty things and makes them come inside. |

Oh no, New Mexico is far superior. Flying roaches alone could turn a paradise into a hell hole for me in 10 minutes.

| I vote NM easily. I've been to Florida a some occassions and I can smell the place. There's this over-riding vegatable rot that drives me crazy. The humidity is just too much for me. In certain lovely places in NM I could live easily. I can't say that about Florida. In fact, Abilene by God Texas is sort of an aesthetic wasteland and if finances and job situations allowed I'd move to NM or AZ quick-like but I'd stay in Abilene rather than move to Fla. | |

| Here where I live, we have a great climate. There are four definable seasons, with no extremes in any of them. Not too hot in summer, nor too cold in winter. We get snow, but it usually melts by the afternoon. In five minutes I can be in the mountains or in the desert, live right on the boarder between them. We have 340 or so days of sunshine every year and the humidity is nil. Really, an almost perfect climate.
Of course the people suck and the day to day grind of making a living sucks, but you would get that anywhere. Might as well have a pleasant climate to do it in.
