I'd like them to have a new name, new band start a fresh. Because theres too many restrictions and expectations that comes musically with the name Trouble.

Although isn't it appropriate Kory Clarke is in a band named Trouble.

I wan't Kory's politico rantings over the top of Franklin's creamy fuzzed out guitars.

You know i always considered Warrior Soul a psychedelic mix of Black Sabbath and the Sex Pistols. So it's not to far off base. The song 'Blown' from Salutations might be the closest to this coming combination we have at the moment.

I guess this is why Clark left Dirty Rig, or maybe he did that album as a favor or for fun.-TJ

Former TROUBLE frontman Eric Wagner has released the following statement regarding his departure from the group:

"It is with my deepest regret that by mutual agreement that TROUBLE and I have parted ways effective immediately.

"I love them very much and I wish them nothing but the best. At this moment in time I just can't handle touring anymore.

"All I want to do is write songs and work on my new project BLACK FINGER.
"I am sorry and I love you all."

As previously reported, Kory Clarke of WARRIOR SOUL has joined TROUBLE as the group's new frontman.

I'd rather they give someone like Kory a shot before breaking up altogether....they write good music...

I only own one Trouble cd and have no Warrior Soul music. Since I don't know enough about either band or have any loyalty to them, this news doesn't really effect me in any way. Making this yet another pointless post from me.

So that's 2938 pointless posts. Good average mate.

I still think this is not a good fit. Kory's voice is not even close to Eric's.

I like them each seperately, that's all.

I am not gonna rule this one out until I hear it. I think Kory is a good vocalist, but I am not sure it will work for Trouble. Only time will tell.

Kory to me seems too one-dimensional for Trouble. I don't mean that in an insulting way either.

Nope. This is a perfect time. However you should know that I was using the French-Canadian spelling. Or mabe it was the Eastern-gypsy version. I do that allot.

I'm very disappointed but i'm a huge Trouble fan so i will still support them and hope for the best! I wish they would drop that lame record label "escapi".

I found this statement from Trouble's drummer on his website regarding Eric Wagner's leaving the band...


I didn't discuss Kyle (although he is a talented singer). I think Kory has a great voice and he is respected and admired by the band. I think he will do well! I'm keeping positive about the future of TROUBLE and I only hope the fans will be too. I'm not going to go on and on about this change in the line up, but I will say this and let it go (although YOU the fans can discuss amongst each other and you decide)...
Eric stopped coming to the plate with TROUBLE. It angers me that musicians can not practice their art, because of laziness or whatever... not showing up to sound checks and wonder why they can't hear their own voice during a show. He obviously didn't care about TROUBLE anymore, musically. TROUBLE will be stronger than ever. Sorry if I sound mean. I'm saddened that it had to be this way too.

I guess Eric just lost the passion for Trouble which is sad.

One thing for sure is that Kory isn't low on passion in whatever he does.

Eric lost passion because the band makes no money and can't get a record released in America, which is a smurfing shame.

Kory has passion for everything because he's a coke head. But I love him.

I would be very excited if it were a hybrid band with a new name, but if Kory tries too hard to fit into the Trouble Concept, it might not work. I agree with RP on this one. I'll definitely give it a chance, but I'm hoping that Kory has a lot of input into the songs and isn't just a new vocalist. He could really jumpstart a tired band.
