| The original pressing of Type O Negative's ORIGIN OF THE FECES: NOT LIVE IN BRIGHTON BEACH was a blurred photo of someone's (perhaps Type O's Pete Steele?) spread-open butt cheeks. (I believe I posted a pic of it in the WORST ALBUM COVER thread a while back, I'll spare all of you the imagery this time). It was later replaced with a less disgusting cover of dancing skeletons or something to that effect.

I never heard about that album cover being banned or censored; what was it replaced with? I do know one of Gorgasm's other albums had alternate artwork, or at least a slipcase so the explicit album artwork wouldn't be visible. | |
