Seen any good movies?

Perfect Stranger

The Cannonball Run; one of my all time favorite 80's comedies.

For my sister's b-day we (her, me, my dad, my niece, and my nephew) saw The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Awesome movie that may actually be better than the first one (I'll need to see it more than once to know for sure).

Captivity.

I thought this was going to be another of the "torture porn" horror subgenre flicks like Saw or Hostel. There's some of that going on but this is much more a psychological thriller than anything else.

And if it wasn't for the posts in this thread, I'd have no clue what it was about based on that "title".

I love how the thread title changes just about every day.

Started watching "Teeth". So far it's everything I'd hoped for.

A Fistfull of Dollars. Great movie. I actually think it's better than The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.

Just finished "I Am Legend." Quite a bleak little movie wasn't it? Very cool, though I think the German Shepherd was a better actor than Will Smith.

Baby's Momma - It was just OK, but the day with Momma on our anniversary was a nice one.

I don't know what the movie is called, but it had Kevin Bacon in it, and an invisible gorilla. Anybody know what it is?

I watched Hostage with Bruce Willis last night. Good film.

Finished "Teeth".

Excellent movie. Although it's marketed as a horror flick, I wouldn't really say it is. It's more like a coming of age movie with a bizarre twist.

In a nutshell, a high school girl who wants to save herself for marriage discovers that her "privates" contain a certain something extra. Teeth. The teeth tend to clench whenever someone invades her "personal space" against her will.

The lead actress won the best actress award for this film at the Sundance film festival.

I've never seen a movie with so many "severed members".

Saw this one today as well.

I have the exact opposite opinion of toho. Not a good movie.

I want that hour and 25 minutes back.

Saw the latest Indiana Jones flick last night. It was ok, I guess. No charm, no real strory, but still entertaining.

Watched National Treasure II - Book of Secrets last night with the kids. What an awesome flick. I know people rag on the NT movies for percieved historical innacuracies, but if it were a Discovery Channel special, how many people would fork over $9 to see it? Personally, I love them both.

We should be going to see Prince Caspian tonight after the ritual burning and consumption of flesh.

3 Iron - weird (but entertaining) Korean "love" story.

Next - (Nicholas Cage can see 2 minutes into the future, but only as it pertains to himself.....except for the unnaturally hot Jessica Beil, whose presence allows him to see further somehow.)



Toho - That sounds interesting. GlassPrison at the CMR was talking about it. Said it was otherwise surprisingly clean.

TallT - I haven't seen #2 but I love National Treasure. Saw it with my Dad twice!

Meat Loaf - In Search of Paradise

A documentary into the backstage workings of Meat's last tour. I love that man. Interesting enough documentary.

I saw parts of Predator on TV on Sunday. I have seen it before (I own it on DVD), but it's such an awesome movie. I'll need to watch it in its entirety again one of these days.
