I picked someone else. Van Williams is an insane drummer! And I could not disagree with the above statement more (even if it was written a year ago!) If Van, (or Jeff Loomis, or Warrel, for that matter) left Nevermore, the band would be completely different. Williams drumming style is integral to the sound of the band. I would agree that some drummers are interchangeable. But you can't make a general statement like that. Martin Lopez left Opeth and was replaced by Martin Axenrot. Both of them are great drummers, but there is a different sound to the new album. Drummers have a definite individual style. | |

| I picked someone else. My choice would be Hellhammer probaly. Especially in the song "Buried by Time and Dust" it's amazing. From that list though Dave Lombardo or Pete Sandoval. |

| As far as the poll's options i picked Dave becasue he is still one of the fastest guys on drums but if i had to pick i would say Bill Ward he is a very underated drummer and he is really awesome! |
