Gene Simmons is bald after all...

Well, duh. If you look at 70's pictures, you can see the widow's peak...it was just kind of hard to see because of the "point" on his forehead with the makeup.

But there was an episode of "Family Jewels" last year where it showed Gene washing his hair, pulling on it and saying, "See? People think it's a wig." and it was clearly attached to his head (but looked like plugs).

But on the season premier of the 3rd season, Shannon pulls his wig off when they're on the couch. I thought it was just a gag, with a skullcap, but check out these pic's:







We all knew he was bald -- it's just weird to see him without his wig!

He looks pretty good without the wig. He should just go with it, but I guess that goes against his image.

Yeah but why would he be out in public without the wig? I saw that episode of Family Jewels, which I think was just done for a gag.

He looks pretty good bald. And he is totally bald, why wear a wig that looks like a big helmet?

I thought the bald head on "Family Jewels" was a gag too. It went by too quickly for me to get a good enough look to see if it was indeed a "bald" skull cap or if it was his real head though, so I can't be sure.

I guarantee it's real...he's been wearing wigs since 'Animalize'...

Yup, in the 80's he cut his hair for the movie roles he was playing.

He actually pulls off the bald look very well. He looks much more... "human" without his very odd wig. He should just embrace it. Having said that, I never expected him to be bald - I just thought he had a receeding hairline and a rather badly hair-sprayed doo. Admittedly, this idea was primarily put in my head by that photo of him after plastic surgery.

I find it sad, actually. I mean, he looks normal in these pictures. He looks a bit freakish with that horrible wig. I guess these could be Photoshopp'd pics, though. If that's the case, then he needs a new do.

He looks like a James Bond villan in that picture.

I think Shannon should shave her head too!

So what's the final verdict with this photo? Is it real or fake?

i reckon they're photoshopped. if he was bald, i doubt he'd go outside without the wig on

On "Family Jewels" this week, when he was taking the lie detector test, Adam Corrolla asked him if his hair was a wig. Gene said no, and passed the lie detector. Who knows?
