Great W.A.S.P. tune, I am not familiar with either Vicious Rumors or Crimson Glory, how about 'Sleeping in the Fire' from W.A.S.P. debut album.

I am not sure if this is considered a power ballad but Quiet Riot's 'Love's a B!tch' , I have always loved that song.
These songs were written before the term power ballad existed but I have always loved Alice Cooper's 'Only Women Bleed' and 'I Never Cry'

Aerosmith's 'Dream On' waaaaaaaaaaaay overplayed but still a great tune. Deep Purple's 'Wasted Sunset' is somewhat of power ballad, I don't know if that would be considered a power ballad, can we have ruling on that tune?

Thats a toughy. I lump that tune in with "Soldier of Fortune" and "When a Blind Man Cries" which I like to think are just emotional blues songs, but what do I know?

I am going to go with your ruling, that song leans more toward blues than the tradition power ballad.

Great tune and how about Black Sabbath's 'No Stranger to Love', Deep Purple's 'Love Conquers All' but as much as DP fanboy that I am, I can't stand that song, sounds like discarded Rainbow song.

When A Blind Man Cries is definitely a blues ballad.
I've never been much of a fan of power ballads, but I'll admit I played "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Kix WAY too many times when it first came out.

Great song. Seen'em do it live a bunch of times and it always brought the house down.

It wouldn't be so bad if Dean decided to not use that Tom Kiefer-esque gutteral voice on it. The song itself is pretty solid, IMO.
